What Should I Do if I Fall Between Sizes?
If your shoe size falls between two sizes, we suggest selecting the larger of the two sizes for comfort. However, if you would prefer a snug fit, please select the lower of the two sizes. If your ankle is swollen and you are close to a sizing boundary, we would advise choosing a larger size.

What If I Have Recently Injured My Ankle?
This kit is recommended for minor injuries and the latter stages of recovery from more severe ankle injuries. Filled with a special gel divided into two halves, the wrap can be moulded around the key areas of your ankle to target the most vulnerable areas, helping to reduce swelling and contribute to improved recovery times.
How Does Cold Therapy Help Rehabilitation?
The DuraSoft Ankle Wrap provides effective cryotherapy which can reduce pain and swelling, and can also facilitate faster rehabilitation. All DuraSoft Ice Pack Wraps can be used without removing your surgical dressings, as they effectively penetrate surgical dressings to decrease pain, swelling and secondary hypoxic tissue injury.
How Do I Use The DuraSoft Ankle Ice Pack?
The DuraSoft Ankle Ice Pack Wrap is simple and easy to use. Simply freeze the ice pack inserts, insert them into the ice pack wrap, and wrap around the ankle securing with the elasticated straps:
- Place gel inserts in the re-seal-able bag and place in the freezer until the gel inserts are frozen solid
- Remove the gel inserts form the re-seal-able bag when frozen and place the inserts into the wrap
- Apply wrap to area of treatment by attaching hook or Velcro fastener to outer wrap fabric. The straps should be applied with enough stretch to keep wrap in place and provide desired compression
How Do I Use the Wrap for Heat Therapy?
The gel inserts can also be used to provide heat therapy:
- Place the gel inserts in a deep pan and run hot tap water into the pan until inserts are covered
- Keep the inserts immersed for 3-5 minutes
- dry the gel inserts and apply as above

How Easy Is It to Put On the A60 Brace?
This lightweight ankle brace is quick and easy to put on, allowing you to strap it on in a matter of seconds. All you need to do is secure the internal sleeve at the front of your ankle with the hook-and-loop fastener, and then bring the single strap around the back of your ankle and up through the plastic buckle on the outside of your ankle. This can then be adjusted to be as loose or as tight as you require.

Can I Wear the A60 Ankle Support On Either Foot?
As the Aircast Ankle Brace features an anatomical shape to fit with the curves of your ankle, it should be worn only on the specified foot. If you find that you have a particularly protruding ankle bone, we recommend that you boost the comfort of your A60 Ankle Brace with a gel sleeve. We know that you need your ankle to feel as comfortable as possible, so you may wish to pair your A60 with the Silipos Gel Sleeve for optimal comfort!
Can I Wear This Brace on Both Ankles?
Yes! If you have previously suffered sprains on both ankles and wish to protect against a similar injury in the future, then wearing an A60 on each ankle is a good measure to prevent against sprains and ankle rollover.
