How Do I Fit The Push Ortho Aequi Ankle Brace?
The Push Ortho Aequi Ankle Brace has Velcro fastenings marked with symbols to help you fasten the brace in the correct sequence.
- Place the Push Ortho Aequi Ankle Brace around the foot. The rigid part should be on the inside of the foot. Lay the long straps to the side of the foot.
- Fasten the diagonal strap.
- Take hold of the elastic strap at the outer side of the foot. Pull this from the diagonally across the instep, wrap it around the ankle just above the heel and fasten in place.
- Finally take hold of the elastic strap on the inside of the foot. Pull this from the instep across the dorsum (top of the foot), wrap it around the ankle over the first strap and fasten in place. The instep is the lower part of the foot, where the strap starts.
How Do I Wash The Push Ortho Aequi Ankle Brace?
Before washing, close the Velcro to protect the Push Ortho Aequi Ankle Brace and other laundry. The support can be washed at temperatures up to 30 degrees Celsius, on a delicate fabrics cycle or by hand. Do not use any bleaching agents.
A gentle spin-dry cycle can be used: after this, hang the ankle brace up to dry in the open air (not near a heating source or in a tumble drier). To extend the ankle brace's service life, it should be dried after use, if necessary, before being stored.
