How Do I Use My Walker Boot?

1. When applying the boot for first time, open all straps and remove liner
2. Apply liner ensuring the heel is pushed fully into the boot
3. Fasten hook closures on foot and leg sections ensuring they are snug
4. The insole can be removed if you wish to insert your own custom insole or modification
5. To use the existing insole, please remove adhesive backing and fix securely in position
6. Pull uprights apart and place foot/liner into walker ensuring heel is against posterior border of walker
7. Uprights should be aligned with mid ankle and lower leg
8. Apply pressure to ensure uprights are fixed to liner
9. Using hook attachments fix front plastic shield to front of liner
10. Fasten straps, from toes up, ensuring they are firm but not too tight
11. Use hand pump provided. Ensure correct side of pump is used - marked IN for inflation & OUT for deflation
12. Push the pump well into the valve positioned on the medial and lateral side of the walker and press the pump to inflate to the required level ensuring patient feedback is used to determine comfort

Washing and Care Instructions

1. Remove liner from boot
2. Hand wash liner with mild detergent
3. Do not ring or tumble dry, leave to air dry flat
4. Wipe down the shell with clean damp cloth and mild detergent and allow to air dry
